Someone saids that every travel in Italy is a "Tour artistique", we are perfectly agree: monuments, museums, castles, churches, are surely culture but the same country side, the other cultural side of Italy, lovely worked, cultivated with jealous passion and yielded fruitful, ridesigned by daily human job of three thousand years, is an expression of culture.

A stay in "Podere Ceoli" is a form of a country tourism that combines a warm reception, a high level of service, and relaxing atmosphere with cultural and gastronomical events in an impressive south Umbrian landscape.

At present the house includes 3 modern apartments, the two on the ground floor are exclusively reserved for guests.

The property is located on a hillside with a spectacular view of the well-preserved countryside and the valley of the river Tevere.

Oak woods and olive trees surround the property; there is also a little fishpond of 300 m² env. rich of carps.

Not only horses, dogs and cats, but also goats, hens and rabbits enliven the properthy. Lime trees, cypresses, holm oaks, pine trees, several sorts of fruit trees and other plants embellish the garden around the house.

In the shadow of a romantic pergola a solid rustic oak table, with seats for more than 20 people, offers you the opportunity for cheerful, convivial meetings.

Pets are allowed.

The house is already mentioned in 1572 in the Land Registry of the old town of Lugnano, as a building outside the protection of the medieval walls surrounding the town.

The country house is completely restored with a great sense of tradition.

An "ancient" roman street leads on to an evocative swimming pool (7x15 mt.) inspired by the "natatio" of ancient Rome.

The swimming pool is encircled from a pavement in cocciopesto (“opus signinum”) on which is a series of basis of roman columns, reproduced in faithful way to the classic models. The same organization of the swimming pool is respectful of the parameters and the traditional ancient dispositions. It is an ideal place to revitalize the body and the spirit.

L'azienda č autorizzata dalla FITETREC (Italian Federation Equestrian Tourism) to supply a point pause for the enrolled one to the Federation. Since equipped of the necessary structures in order to lodge knights and horses, the country house “Podere Ceoli” is usable as base in the journeys of trekking that pass for the Amerino, leaving from the lake of Corbara, going back the gullies of Alviano, by Lugnano in Teverina and continuing to Amelia. It is possible to take walks with horses in our estate, crossing lands, environments of Mediterranean brushwood for one hour or more. During these excursions, lands are crossed and forests, with arbutuses, holm oaks, and plants with an enviable panorama on Tevere valley and lakes of Alviano.
